End of Harvest, Meals in a Jar, Soups-Can we add meat to our soup? Wait, are able to can meat??? Isn’t it easier to just freeze it all, even the leftover soup? Which jars and lids should I use, is there even a difference? We could go on and on and on, there are so many questions about canning mixed veggies and meat, especially in soup and especially together. It is good to have some in the pantry and some in the freezer, but it’s never a good idea to have all your eggs in one basket, or in this case in your freezer. We will discuss all these topics and more, including a few safe freezing tips. Bring paper, a pencil/pen and your questions and let’s talk about Food Preservation.
