Transient Admissions
Looking to earn some credits during the summer or winter break to transfer back to your home university? Transient students are currently enrolled at another college or university, but want to attend TC for only a January- or May-Mini semester, or Summer Semester to return the credits back to their home college.
To be considered for transient applicant status, you must be enrolled at another college or university and plan to return to that institution to complete your degree requirements. Transient students who plan to transfer to Texarkana College must apply for readmission and meet all transfer student guidelines as outlined in the college catalog.
Students wishing to seek transient status for two consecutive semesters must provide a written statement from the registrar or academic dean at their home institution recommending continued admission to Texarkana College.
Submit a student application and be sure to choose Transient- non degree seeking as your student admission basis.
Students under the age of 22 will not be allowed to register without proof of current bacterial meningitis vaccination. This may be mailed to the Office of Admissions, delivered in person to the Nelson Administration Building on campus, or emailed to admissions@texarkanacollege.edu. Explore more information on this requirement and review a waiver option from the bacterial meningitis vaccination.
Meet with a TC Advisor to discuss your current plans and goals, and ensure that our classes will cover the credits you need for your degree.
