Update on TC Financial Aid Disbursement and Refund

Texarkana College students who have been approved for financial aid or a student loan will have their financial aid applied to their student account within the next several days. Students may log in to their myTC account to monitor the status of their financial aid posting. The funds will appear on the account as a credit to pay for tuition, fees and bookstore charges. According to federal law, students will receive their remaining funds as a refund within fourteen days after all charges have been paid. Texarkana College anticipates this date to be on or before October 6, 2014.

If you are a student who has applied for a student loan and you are a first time borrower, by law, there is an extended waiting period. Students are encouraged to check their online myTC account regularly to monitor their reimbursement process.

TC President, James Henry Russell, would like to invite all students to attend a Town Hall meeting on Tuesday, October 7th from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. in the Great Room of the Truman Arnold Student Center. This will be an opportunity for students to ask questions and provide input on areas of concern at Texarkana College.
